The Lee County LGBTQA Democratic Caucus represents the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community to the Florida LGBTQ+Democratic Caucus and the Florida Democratic Party. We are a local chapter of a statewide organization.  We have local chapters around the state, from Pensacola to Miami – and most major metropolitan areas in between. Our strength lies in the size of our organization and the ability of our local chapters and their individual members to stand up for equal rights, support candidates who support our community, and lobby for legislation and policies that recognize and strengthen our community.

The Lee County LGBTQA Democratic Caucus is chartered by the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus and the Florida Democratic Party and many of our members currently serve on Democratic Executive Committees across the state.

The Lee County LGBTQA Democratic Caucus may endorse in all local and state elections for which the district falls within the County-line boundaries of Lee County.  The Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus endorses in all other state and national elections.

Applications should be submitted after the filing date no later than 45 days before the date of the first election. Under extraordinary circumstances, the Lee County LGBTQA Democratic Caucus and Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus may agree to waive the deadline.
